Runescape 99 Mining [Guide]
Here is the long overdue mining guide. Hopefully i’ve covered everything and it is as concise and up to date as possible. Remember to turn your volume up and enjoy the music Note: (1) At 6:19 it should be the family crest quest, and not the family feud quest as I typed. Sorry for this mistake and thank you for pointing it out (2) Varrock armor 3 is preferred as the chance of mining two ores at once goes up to adamant. Varrock armor 2 provides this benefit only up to mithril. Although this includes gold (and coal) the rates may be higher for 3. Varrock armor 1 only provides this chance for ores up to coal, so if you’re doing 80-99 mining gold, then 2 or 3 is needed. (3) Instead of using a duel ring to teleport and bank at castle wars, you can instead use a ring of kinship to teleport and bank at daemonheim. However, the banker is further away, so overall your xp/hr and gp/hr will suffer. On the other hand, this ring has unlimited charges so if you do not want to spend money on duel rings then use this one. (4) For dropping and banking, the following are my settings on vista: – Make sure you turn on sticky keys and for me, I double click the ctrl key for the extra acceleration which makes it work img163.imageshack.us -For banking this is my mouse key acceleration and top speed: img31.imageshack.us -For dropping this is my mouse key acceleration and top speed: img13.imageshack.us

Mining for money really doesnt seem worth it. If your in a good clan, you can make at least 8m an hour Item Hopping. The official ones website is at rs-merch.net.

I dont know why all of you get so mad at botters. I dont bot but they dont bother me. Who cares if they dont wanna play right. So they take a tree, or a mining rock here and there…your not a computer, you should be able to outclick it..

@RuneScapeBelgium 1 question kk? erm, how does it ruin the game? I only bot at night and while im at school, so the rest of the time is as legit play, and never once have I said, “wow, this game would be a lot better without bots.” they do not interrupt my play what-so-ever. If I go to green drags and there are bots there, I KILL THE BOTS, simple. And for all those who say they “fuck up” the economy. they dont. You can thank merch clans for that.
@Thetrampinkid I don’t care about the economy. Imagine this. Some guy is runecrafting his ass off and as hes doing that he sees a couple of bots getting the same levels as he is, getting the same ammount of money he is. He thinks to himself; why would I work if everyone just bots it. There is no sense of accomplishment in runescape anymore, you can’t know if someone got their levels legitly. This destroys the purpose of playing RS all together.

@RuneScapeBelgium The “purpose” of runescape is to have fun, which you are obviously having if you still play, and same goes to this “runecrafter.”
@Thetrampinkid The thing that legit players find fun is achieving their goal wether it is a level or an item. I can only assume that you find it fun to pk and i understand that, I pk aswell but if pking is the only aspect of runescape that you enjoy, please play an rsps. You can pk there all you want, spawn items, levels etc. But don’t tell me you like skilling because if you did you wouldn’t bot.

@Thetrampinkid Btw dude my friends mod for jagex and they said that theyre doing a mad huge scan for bots so be safe and dont use it for a bit till its over
@WhereIsRocknRoll Ik almost all bots are going to be banned this tuesday. I posted that comment 6 months ago and have since achieved 99 mining and I’m botting 95 prayer before the update. I’m just trying to get ready so if bots are truely through, I can at least enjoy the game now that I have a decent cash stack and pro stats.
Lava Flow Mine is better than Coal deposits + you get the Golden armour.
