Story of the Brewers, one African American family and its quest to find information. Emiline and Robert Brewer were both slaves. They bought enough land to give to their 11 children. On October 16th, the Brewer family met with the Watts’ descendants. Thomas Watts was Emiline’s slave owner. This was the same historical day that the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial was dedicated in Washington, DC He had a dream that this day would come.
