How To Find Birth Records?

I am trying to find a site that had birth records. like a site that will be able to show the mother’s and father’s name. Anyone know of a site where i could possibly find something like that?

    Yes and no.
Birth certificates are filed by the state level.. so your first need is to indentify the state, and their options. OLD records can be found online…
What you have to distinguish here, is how old. Recent documents are restricted for security reasons. No one should have access to YOUR private info. Records that are online are generally at least 75 yrs old. Don’t expect a "one size fits all" site.
And.. don’t forget.. birth certificates (when doing genealogy) are not the only place to find that info. As a general rule in the US, birth certificates did not exist in the 1800s. I believe they start about 1837 in the UK.
There is a good tutorial on family history and how to find it, on the front page of http://www.rootsweb.com, if this is what you are hoping to do.

Very few states show the certificate online but some do. Some are only indexed. What years and state are you interested in?

Try this site, I know they provide different records of a particular person, maybe birth records also.
